Shaker card

This shaker card is made with papers and and embellishment from Tim Holtz.

As"window" I have used old clear packaging from a Spellbinders. In the back i have inserted som clear micro beads. 

Kids kissing i have cut out from a candy bag that i had to buy from a local bakery shop. Too sad that I didn`t get copies of them =(

Art journal page

My last journal page. 

I have used an old Bible page and primed it with gesso.

I used slightly different inka golds to get some color on the page, i have also spilled a bit of coffee here and there. 

The stamps i used are from Tom Holtz stampers anonymous.

Some watches had to retire to this project, otherwise I have used a lot tape, lace and molding paste.

Mixed media - AJ

I made ​​an realy old bible in a AJ book. 

Decorated the front in mixed media style.

Here are my first two pages of the book, 

and I must mention that I am super inspired by Finnabair.

On the first page I used gesso, gold paint and distress crackle paint with shimmer in.

 the last page I have only used gesso and pan pastel to get as soft color as possible. 

I have also used various washi tape and different mesh to get some structure in The Background (unfortunately not shown in the pictures)my camera is a bit blurry and won`t focus anymore =(

Distress INK - SPRAY - Homemade

You've probably thought of this yourself, but I think this it's a brilliant idea, and I just have to share it with you.

I bought some plastic bottles on ebay, and sat down to "play" with them one night, suddenly I remembered that I had a couple (9) distress ink re fillers, so I dripped about 4 full pipettes with distress ink in the bottles, and filled them up with water, then i printed out labels of the distress ink pads and glued them on the bottle.

Unfortunately I only have 9 bottles of distress ink, otherwise I had made ​​one of all the colors =)

The result was som lovely sprays in soft colors, which can be used for everything =)

Just mailed Tim Holtz to ask if this is something he can produce in the future, I know i would at least buy them =)

Tag bakgrunns tutorial

Lurer du på hvordan du får denne Tag`en til å få sånn bakgrunn som du se under her? Da skal jeg prøve så godt jeg kan å forklare deg det.

1. Det første du gjør er å ta fram taggen du vil bruke, her har jeg selv skjært ut min egen tag av kraftkartog.

2. Du må ha ett dobbeltsidig limpapir.

3. Legg taggen ned på limpapiret. og stryk over med en linjal, for å unngå bobler. Klipp til, men vent før du peeler av limbeskyttelsen.

 4. Neste steg er å ta fram Tim Holt`z tissue paper (det går ant å bruke vanlig bakepapir også, men fargene sitter ikke like godt fast i det synes jeg)

 Klipp til en bit av tissue papiret, slik at den dekker taggen

5. Krøll tissue papiret til en liten ball og rull gjerne litt i mellom handflaten

6. Nå kan du peele av beskyttelses arket og feste tissue papiret forsiktig på. Ikke glatt det ut over, men bruk noen fingre å klapp det forsiktig på plass for å få den KRØLLETE istedenfor glatt.

7. Så spray - Tørk med embossingpistol - Gjenta mange ganger - så mange DU vil. Her bruker jeg

Tim Holtz`s 12 tags of 2012 - May...

So this is my very first tag. Was not so happy with this. Have perhaps too little equipment to make such great tags as Tim Holtz makes, and the imagination is not on top it either to day. 

I first i distressed the tag with pads that you see in the picture above, then I sprayed it with water and glimmer mist, then I curled it a bit to make it look old. 

I stamped the tag with a "doll", and cut out a doll of a dies from Tim Holtz. The doll I have also sprayed with glimmermist before I painted it with crackle paint. On the flowers to have used a glossy accents to a porcelain-like appearance.

Otherwise, the hangers and film strip (which I use A LOT) also products from Tim Holtz.

On one side is embossed after swirling with silver powder. I ended up not using the "diva" button that I have made ​​myself
